Palmira Barbecue’s name is an homage to Garate’s grandmother, who grew up on a sustainable cattle ranch. Hector Garate started Palmira Barbecue as an idea to stay true to the foundation of barbecue by building our own custom smokers, using only wood as the fuel source for cooking and sourcing local meats to serve charleston true barbecue.

RAW LAB is a singular culinary experience designed to deliver a delicous blend of discovery and enchantment through an extraordinary raw bar service that goes far beyond oysters. RAW LAB delivers an “Edu-Taining” experience where 30 bites of MARINE CUISINE & DelicaSEAS are delivered to the guest in 8-9 rounds, each of which is paired with premium wine. We specialize in pastas, focaccia and desserts.
We source our products locally. Fresh pastas from Rio Bertolini. Focaccia bread from Brown’s Court Bakery. Italian pastries from NonnaBachi. By sourcing local, we get the highest quality products and help contribute to our community both socially and economically.

PORT OF CALL + 3 BARS
Port of Call has three bars offering local beer, craft cocktails, live music and a courtyard that looks at Market street. We have a bit of everything local and hope you stop to see the best that Charleston has to offer.
We are proud to focus on our neighbors by serving only local beer on draft. We have all styles and selections represented by the best of each brewery. Check out our locally made radler using Fam’s Beach Lite or our Port of Call Sour made using Westbrook Gose + choice of housemade syrup.
Our bar program focuses on making classic cocktails and house specialties using only the best ingredients. We also carry a fine selection of spirits, including all of the Charleston favorites.
